About My Art

I have been an artist all my life, and come from a very creative and supportive family. I have a degree in art and education, and have been an elementary school art teacher for 13 years. I find that children are my greatest inspiration and most enthusiastic supporters. Over time, it has been my students that have had the greatest influence on me as an artist.

I am a potter, painter and am most recently interested in glass. I call myself a "reconstructionalist artist" because I create something, take it apart and put it back together again. This technique is easy to see in my paintings and pottery which are bolted or wired back together again.

  1. Congradulations Jeannette!! I was just trying to find the phone/address book for Denver to make sure I had your correct address so I could send a little something to Chani for her BD and found your website. Your art is beautiful. Do you have it on Etsy as well? I will have to take a look and see if you have anything there as well. Good luck with with it - it is certainly beautiful work. Lucie
